Kentucky Riders in the Community

I live in Pike County Kentucky, right next door to the Hatfield McCoy Trails. I must say, if I could live outdoors I would. When I'm not visiting the Pine Mountain Trail for hiking, biking, and so on, I'm at the Hatfield McCoy Trails for a weekend of fun. There is so much outdoor stuff to do in Pike County and WV that its really a paradise of sorts.

Never introduce myself properly, so here I am. My name is Joshie and I am twenty three years old and the birthday is on March 18th, 1987. Live all of my years in Kentucky within' only 1-3 miles from Williamson, WV so I got real lucky to be real close to a fantastic trail, Buffalo mountain of HMT. For my experience, I have rode ATV ever since I was 4 or 5 years old, owning several ATV even at that age. Went from 50CC to 165CC within' only in a year and then just couple years went to Honda Recon, 300 and then half of a month went up to Honda foreman 450 ES. In my own life, I believe if my math of owning ATV is number of 11 ATV ever since I was around 5. So I am definitely a experienced rider, but only most of my fear in riding is riding on the steep hills on its side or if left side or right side tires coming off the ground because I am only 4'3'' in height, haha yeah I am real small guy who's 23, alright! But where I am 4'3'', riding a 550cc my feet isn't reachable to the footrest so that's why it's easy for me to fall over on the side of ATV but not if I drive steep hill forwards or backward, I can handle that but when it comes to driving too steep on hill on side then I'd have a challenging time. But mostly of times I can hold myself from falling, by not letting my hands come off the handlebar and just spins out to slide so that way it take less of a time to keep me from falling. But I won't get less than a 500CC ATV because, I love 500cc or higer power. Too addict to the torque and power!

My first trail I ever have rode was Turkey Creek, a trail odd named titty-top is what everybody calls them. But it was right beside the old turkey creek middle school but they're closed now, gate up. And then my second would be Ballfork, wait.. Yes, ballfork mountain which is in Kentucky also, it's SEVERAL long miles of riding in many different difficulty but is not marked. If you study where you go and how get back then you'd have a heck of fun. Ballfork mountain is in Blackberry, KY which is owned by coal company but they allows anyone to ride there as they wish and permission is no needed. Then my third is forest hill in Kentucky, they're mountain but not marked and I have no idea what they name it but it's partly owned by a friend of mine. Then fourth, is Buffalo mountain by hatfield and mccoy. After riding there for only an hour if not even less, Buffalo mountain already became my favorite and it only take me at least few minutes to know that it is. Probably because of more active and marked, I don't know.

But all of that aside, I am a web developer and web designer. I've work with several websites for some people and also built of my own, running 11 websites right now. I formed a club riding for Kentucky and also West Virginia, specifically a group for HMT is called ATV Addict. There's a website for it, but it's not running right now because I had to shut the website down so I could start fresh again on it because it wasn't running right and beside I was in real hurry when building a website for ATV Addict club but I am going to take my time with it this time so that way it can turn out better.

So nonetheless to say, I am owner of ATV Addict group which was featured on ATVsource website until where I shut down the website, assuming that they were thinking that I disbanded the ATV Addict, I don't know, but it isn't. Although lost tons of riders from it, there's only me and my cousin in it right now and hoping to bring the riders back in club or get new ones. They're free to join.

But however, back to my history. No I was not born in Kentucky. I mean, my first house to live in is Kentucky but I was born in Williamson, WV at the memorial hospital. So I am half Kentucky and West Virginia guy.

Now I have majorly issue with my lower back, had surgery and the scar is two foot long time ago and I am always in pain every day, every second. But that never stops me riding ATV.

Now, the last thing is. I am hearing impaired and I am in wheelchair. I born hearing impaired, but I didn't born being in wheelchair. I fell and broke my femar in half at age of 8, which is how I ended up in wheelchair but however, I am not paralyze like some of people think of me as a guy who's paralyze that can't do anything, I was bullied by that for several years but never bothered by it. Long story short, after I get home from the hospital and while I was supposed to rest to heal my leg, yeah right. I came home straight from the hospital to ride a four wheeler afterward with a heavily cast on my leg. Like I said, nothing will stop me from riding ATV. (I think that explains why I formed a ATV club named ATV Addict).
